What an amazing day on the harbour! From start to finish the process was seamless. The staff at Eastcoast Sailing were efficient and so easy to deal with. Receiving a quote for the boat hire experience in Sydney and finalising the booking was all done via email. Even picking up from our preferred destination, made it even more convenient.Our group got picked from King Street Wharf, and then we had a lovely cruise past Barangaroo, under the harbour bridge (just awesome), then past the Sydney Opera House, around the lovely Farm Cove bay and Botanical Gardens, and then past Fort Denison. Off to Rose Bay we went past beautiful islands that we have never seen up-close before, and the water front mansions. Our skipper dropped anchor at Rose Bay where we had lunch.I don’t know much about charter boats, but our boat was a beautiful new Seawind 1160 Resort catamaran hire, which had a large space to move around and socialise with our friends. The upfront trampolines was popular to site and to laze in the sun. The other feature has the large covered area with plenty of shade when you wanted, and large outdoor space for sunshine when you needed it.Planning a day out with 30 friends could not have been easier. BYO food and drinks meant we could keep our costs down. The catamaran is a great size and very comfortable inside and out. The Captain and deck hand were very accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed. Even though it was a beautiful Spring day, it wasn’t warm enough to swim. On previous occasions we have used the floating mats which were so much fun. This time we took advantage of the nets and lazed in the sun. Everyone raved about the day and how wonderful the Boat Hire Experience was. Our only complaint – it went too quick! Definitely booking again!
