Q: Is yacht charter suitable for kids?

Yes, absolutely. Yacht charter and boat hire is ideal for families with kids. It’s great fun cruising the harbour, or stopping for a swim at a beautiful beach. Getting the sails up and sailing a yacht is a wonderful family event.

Q: How long before the departure time do I need to arrive?

We recommend arriving at the agreed wharf pick-up location at 15-20 minutes prior to your cruise. For larger groups, we recommend 20-30 minutes to avoid late guests missing the cruise. The boats need to leave the wharf on time due to Maritime wharf booking arrangements.

Q: Are there Bareboat Charter options available?

Yes, we have both bareboat yachts and self-drive motor boats available in both Sydney Harbour and Pittwater.

Q: Is there a maximum number of guests I can have on the Yacht?

Every boat has a legally certified maximum number of guests. The maximum number of guests is listed on each specific yacht page.

Sailing on one of our wonderful yachts is a bucket-list worthy activity, with guests welcome to help haul the mainsail, trim the headsail, and even steer the helm. If sitting back and relaxing is more your speed, you are more than welcome to kick back and enjoy the cruise.

One of the most exciting corporate team-building activities is a yacht sailing regatta. Participants are divided into two or more groups and must race each other around the harbour with the help of a skipper. The teams must navigate around a set course to increase the competition, and the excitement. Guests are encouraged to rotate around the crewing positions on the yacht, including main sheet, headsail, navigator, captain and even steering the helm.

Sailing regattas are also an exciting way to spend a bucks or hens event by sailing against your friends.
